EXCURSIONS 2014
For the first time ever, the MARK MORRIS DANCE GROUP ran two simultaneous tours, both named EXCURSIONS 2014.
While Company West performed in the US, Scotland, Italy and Switzerland, Company East visited Cambodia, Timor-Leste and Taiwan.
Together Again
In mid-November, Companies East and West rejoined in China to perform in Shenzhen and Beijing.
DanceMotionUSA
The Company East Tour was a project of DanceMotionUSA, which is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State, produced by BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music).

Company East - October 12-November 17, 2014
I traveled with Company East as "general tech person" and to run the
Sprung Deck project in Cambodia.
It was not possible for me to be present at all Company East activities, but I did have the opportunity to be part of, and document many of our projects.
Through this photo site I want to show people where we went, what we did, what we saw and why it is that we will be ecstatic for months to come about this incredible experience.
Several of my pictures were used in the social media, so you may have seen some of them already, but there are plenty of pictures that you won't have seen before.
